Lawson Heights
Assembly

Meeting
Location:
Lawson Heights Gospel Hall
131 La Ronge Road
Saskatoon, SK
Canada S7K 5T3
Phone: 306.249.5044
Background:
Following an outreach
in evangelism the assembly in Lawson Heights commenced in
1990. The local church or assembly is best described as a
company of believers that meet together in obedience to the
Word of God (Matthew 18:20, Hebrews 10:25).
The New
Testament speaks of local congregations, individual churches
composed of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. There are
many instructions in the Scriptures that are directed to just
such churches where Christians enjoy fellowship and worship,
are instructed in God’s Word, and use their spiritual gifts to
serve the Lord. The local church is committed to a plurality
of leadership (Philippians 1:1), and is independent of any
controlling organization.
The
Christians who meet at the Lawson Heights Gospel Hall
recognize that we have a bond with all true Christians and
extend a welcome to attend the meetings of the local church.
The meetings are designed to provide opportunities for
worship, Bible teaching, fellowship and to reach others with
the good news of salvation.

In one God
eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy
Spirit.
(2 Corinthians 13:14)
In Jesus
Christ who is God in flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless
humanity, His sacrificial death, His bodily resurrection, His
ascension and His personal return in power and glory.
(Colossians 2:9, 1 Timothy 3:16, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Romans
4:25, Acts 1:11)
In the
immediate and eternal salvation of all who receive by faith
the Lord Jesus as personal Savior and Lord.
(John 1:12-13, Romans 5:1, 1 Peter 1:23)
In the bodily
resurrection of the just and the unjust; and the everlasting
blessedness of the saved and the everlasting punishment of the
lost.
(1 Thessalonians 4:17, Revelation 20:11-15)
In the
church, the body of Christ, consisting of all true believers.
(1 Corinthians 12:12-14, Ephesians 1:22-23)
In the local
church composed of believers in a locality, who gather in
Christ’s Name for worship, prayer, edification, testimony and
